It seems as though there was just one game for every system, to give people an idea as to how the virtual console will work. I doubt it was even connected to the internet; they probably just had those stored on a disk or something. The finished version should be more complex and spiffy, with an extensive library. Maybe they'll only have one per console at first, or only one per console in this demo version.
