New Wii game titles announced
Published by dasme 2 years, 4 months ago in News.It looks like the post-E3 drought has finally ended. Over the last day or so we have seen three new Wii games announced, though mainly in teaser form. We here at WiiSpot figured that you would be interested in these announcements, info slim as they may be.
Animal Crossing Wii was finally talked about during an interview given to the site Kikizo. This title was mentioned during the Pre-E3 press conference, but wasn’t officially announced then. In this video interview Katsuya Eguchi talks briefly about this title and the functionality that WiiConnect24 could add to this game.
Even when you aren’t currently playing the game, it is possible that a friend could visit your town and leave you a letter. …someone could also send a letter from their cellphone or email and have this appear in the game the next time you play.
I have been an Animal Crossing fan from day one, so you can bet that I’ll be buying any AC game that appears on the Wii.
Bleach has been announced as a teaser over on the Japanese site. Not much is known about this title yet, but it’s been confirmed to be a 3D fighting game, similar to the ones on the PSP. I managed to get my hands on an import copy of Bleach 1 for the PSP and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I have high hopes for this title on the Wii. Sword fights FTW!
Pokemon Battle Revolution was announced during a press conference given by none other then, Satoru Iwata. While not much is known about this game, is has been confirmed as an Arena style battle game similar to Pokemon Colosseum on the GC. Iwata also talked about how you’ll be able to connect your DS to your Wii wirelessly, transferring your Pokemon from the Diamond and Pearl games. While I’m not a huge Pokemon fan, I can’t deny the wide appeal these games have. I’m interested in seeing how this Wii to DS connection will play out.

I wonder just how much connectivity is going to be implemented for PBR.
Hopefully it’ll regenerate the fledgling pokemon series.
I think these games are great, but I want to know if lucasarts is planning to do a game for the wii, just imagine Star wars rogue squadron 4 for the wii, that would be great. THANKS
