New Smash Bros footage to debut at Nintendo World 2006

Nintendo World 2006 is set to play host to exclusive new footage of Masahiro Sakurai latest masterpiece Super Smash Brothers Brawl.
The news was made publicly available via the the official Japanese Super Smash Brothers Web site which states that the forthcoming Nintendo World 2006 event will be the first time eager gamers will be able to witness new characters such as Metal Gears Solid Snake, and Metroids Zero Suit Samus in real-time game footage.
The highly anticipated Nintendo World 2006 event is due to take place in Japan in three different locations, which take place on four separate dates: Nagoya on November 3, Osaka on November 12, and Makuhari Messe November 25 - home of the infamous Toyko Gameshow.
What will come as a disappointment to many is that the title won’t be playable at the event, but much like it was at E3 the event will be broadcast on large display Televisions providing gamers with captivating footage, which is sure to get the adrenaline pumping for the soon-to-be-announced release date.

It was pretty much an unveiling for Fox and his new look.
I hope they keep feeding us new videos with new characters everytime they release one.
I hope they have enough time for game development to make more characters for Brawl than they did for Melee, but seeing as how the game may come out in May or anytime before then…well…it just makes me nervous about how the game will turn out. It will be critically compared to its prequel, and Melee was the best selling Gamecube game of all time.
I hope I don’t get in trouble for say this, but, I don’t know if this game is going to be as good as people think. Don’t get me wrong, I want to get Brawl just as bad as any other fan of the franchise,yet I’ve seen the the footage this page is talking about. Did anyone else seem to notice how fast the characters die? If the final version is going to be like that, it might seem boring winning ( or losing) that easily all the time. Not only that, in my opinion, the attacks seemed a little stale and bland. Although,in a few months of programing, that won’t be that much of a problem, I think. I hope that they will show us more confirmed characters before the release of the finished game besides Fox and the others, old or new ,*cough like a certain blue hedgehog *cough. Let’s hope that Brawl gives Melee a run for it’s money when it comes out!

Actually geo71017, you’de be surprised how often that happens. The problem is not your CPU, it’s the website itself. For some reason, WiiSpot has some type of wierd glitch that sometimes doesn’t imediatly post a comment the first time. It’s happened to me at least twice, and I know a few people on different forums of this same website that have had that same problem.

Air Walk Rise/Fall/Normal
Players must be plugged into corresponding controller ports. Rising and falling automaticly locks your Z coordinate to wherever you stop. Pressing X will return you to the ground and unlock the Z coordinate, restoring normality.
Plasma Autorifle & Minigun Don’t Overheat
Player 1 must use a controller plugged into the first controller port on the GameCube.
Player 2 must use a controller plugged into the second controller port on the GameCube.
Player 3 must use a controller plugged into the third controller port on the GameCube.
Player 4 must use a controller plugged into the fourth controller port on the GameCube.
All Guns In All Modes
Freezes if you pull out a gun that’s not loaded in Story Mode.
Gothic Tile Set
In Map Maker, press start then go to the Map Settings menu, it’s the first one. Press X in this menu to select 4 for the tile set. Press A on done to load the Gothic tile set.
Size Modifiers
Eye level doesn’t change. If you’re trying to kill a large enemy, aim for the gut as it’s the only vulnerable spot. Don’t write values much smaller than half or else it will freeze. The values are not exactly 1x size or 10x size but they are close to that approximation. 2nd Player Loaded means if player 2 is not present and player 1 is, the first enemy will be the specified size.
