New features and new look at WiiSpot

Many sites have created special pages and features to cover E3. Not to be outdone, WiiSpot has rolled out a new feature and various graphical changes. If you had hit the site at the right time in the past few days, you might have seen the site in ruins from us breaking and fixing things. Hopefully not to many people saw that…

The first change you guys probably noticed is the presence of a new header image. We got bored of the angle of the Wii so we replaced it with a crisper, more exciting version. The other change you might have noticed is the striped background. Zephyr got bored of the plain solid background so he added in stripes to mix it up.

WiiSpotThe major addition that we here at WiiSpot are very excited about is the new “Featured Articles” block. It displays a few of the best articles found here on WiiSpot at the top of the page, so our visitors don’t miss them. If you are visiting us from offsite, make sure to checkout the main page to see this feature bar in full effect.

Please leave a comment or two, we love to hear feedback so we can better tailor the site to your needs. As always, stay tuned to WiiSpot for the latest Nintendo Wii news. We’ll be covering the latest news from E3 in the coming days so be sure to check back often.

Well, the stripes are a little big, the banner could use some work because it’s a little plain, the “WiiSpot” text also is a little plain, and the Wii itself in the picture is kinda big.

First Thomas shut the hell up! i think it is excellent:

1: The text is nice it has that “shiny look”
2: The Picture of the Wii is big so what? its nice and its at an angle.
3: The strips are not a matter there for a BG it would not
be better if nothing was there!

Well done I LOVE IT and dasme and the others dont listen to Thomas crap comments.

I was dissapointed with the cube not being put to its full use…but the from the looks of it the Wii will cause something dramatic in the gaming community
