Nintendo auto-registers your purchased VC titles

Here is something that I just noticed today over on myNintendo.com, your purchased Virtual Console titles are automagically added to your registered items list. If you’ve never registered your consoles or games online, this is the place where you can go to download game extras like backgrounds and icon sets. While nothing like this is offered yet for the Virtual Console titles, it is intriguing.
This might be a “Well duh” or “So what” post for some of you out there, but it’s something that I hadn’t noticed before. This may come in handy if NOA ever institutes a brand loyalty program like they have in Europe and Japan. If not, it’s still a good way to keep tabs on the games you’ve purchased on the Virtual Console.
