Matt Casamassina interviews Perrin Kaplan
Published by dasme 2 years, 3 months ago in News.You all should check this video interview out; Matt from IGN Wii interviews Nintendo’s President of Corporate Affairs and Marketing, Perrin Kaplan. It starts out with the normal marketing talk about the price, and why they can’t talk about it. The important part is the fact that Perrin confirms that the Wii have more secrets yet to be revealed.
Speculation is exploding throughout this great interwebbs of ours about what those secrets could be. I’ve heard theories ranging from the price being free with the purchase of four games, all the way to the Wii containing a built in PPU (Physics processing Unit) for ultra realistic physics simulations sans software. If the latter is indeed true, this would of course be the first piece of consumer hardware that would contain a PPU. That would be typical Nintendo wouldn’t you say?
I have a couple theories that I’m going to keep to my chest for now, but I’ll be sure to talk about them in a post E3 podcast that I’m working on with my friends over at Nerdblurb. Watch for that podcast in the next couple of days!

I felt that since there was not a whole lot (if any) major revelations at E3, it would be nice to speculate on these ’surprises’ they keep refering to, but not revealing.
